Q. How can you glorify God? A. By loving him and doing what he commands.
This week we’re focusing on our life purpose: to love and glorify God in every aspect of life. I believe God should truly be our greatest delight and joy, so to that end I structured week 3’s lessons around the theme of loving God.
Take seriously the job of preparing your heart to teach these lessons. As you pre-read each day’s Scripture passages, ask God to apply them to your heart. For me, these lessons have led me to a renewed commitment to obedience and to rejoicing in God over circumstances. It’s such a challenge, because I’m such a complainer! I’d love to hear what God’s teaching you as you teach your little ones. Feel free to e-mail me any time at prekjoy(at)gmail(dot)com.
“Go forth today, by the help of God’s Spirit, vowing and declaring that in life—-come poverty, come wealth, in death—come pain or come what may, you are and ever must be the Lord’s. For this is written on your heart, ‘We love Him because He first loved us.'” – Charles Spurgeon
